A Guyana Gold Board lab technician has been charged with stealing $2.1M in gold from the entity.
A city court was told yesterday that Ronald Singh, 30, of Eccles, when questioned by police about the theft, reportedly handed over a gold bar.
Singh was read a charge that stated that on February 19, at Brickdam, he stole 8 ounces 9 grammes of gold, valued at $2.1 million
