A Chateau Margot weeder was yesterday charged with assault and threatening behaviour after he allegedly battered his wife and then threatened to kill her while wielding a cutlass.
Pooran Ajodha, 42, of M8 Chateau Margot Sideline Dam, allegedly assaulted and used threating behaviour to Somila Ajodha, on February 20, at their home. Ajodha pleaded not guilty to both charges, which were read to him by Magistrate Zamilla Ally-Seepaul at the Better Hope Community Centre,
