Twelve groups were yesterday presented with appointments to the Order of Service of Guyana for their contributions to the nation’s development.
President David Granger conferred the Medal of Service to the groups at the National Awards Investiture Ceremony, which was held at the Arthur Chung Convention Centre, Liliendaal, East Coast Demerara. The awards were announced on December 31 last year.
The groups honoured were the African Cultural and Development Association (ACDA), the Central Assembly of God Church, the E.R.
