Israeli Ambassador promises security aid for Guyana

The Non-Resident Ambassador of the State of Israel, Mordechai Amihai-Bivas paid a courtesy visit to Khemraj Ramjattan, M.P., Vice-President and  Minister of Public Security at the Ministry of Public Security, Brickdam, Georgetown, today, a release from the Ministry of Public Security said.

National Security matters were discussed and there was major focus on border control and security.

The Ambassador assured the Minister that whatever tangible and technical assistance sought by Guyana will be offered, especially as regards assistance towards curbing the illicit entry into Guyana of arms, drugs and trafficked persons.
