Women’s Association for Sustainable Development launches Linden chapter

The Women’s Association for Sustainable Development (WASD) officially launched its Linden Chapter on February 19, at the residence of Francine Major in Amelia’s Ward.

According to a press release, the Linden chapter is headed by Setra O’Selmo, President; Crystal Lam, Secretary; Maureen Muss, Treasurer and Major – Committee Member.

The release said Muss related that as part of its 2015 community outreach efforts, the group gave ‘love baskets’ (Christmas hampers) to six deserving families of the Linden/Wismar community. The group also ‘adopted’ a student and takes care of the
