Deplorable Patentia bridge: This main access bridge at Patentia, West Bank Demerara has been in a deplorable condition for almost one year now. Residents said that a canter truck laden with gas bottles crashed down on it and vehicles have been unable to use it since then. They still walk across it although they know that “it is not too safe.” The residents are hoping that it would be fixed after the local government elections.
