During this morning, Traffic Officer Superintendent Dion Moore was travelling in a private motor vehicle along the Providence Public Road, EBD, when the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a utility pole.
Superintendent Moore sustained injuries and has been hospitalised.
Investigations are in progress.
