The Ministry of Public Infrastructure will be undertaking remedial works to the Supenaam stelling in Essequibo, which is currently in a deplorable state, GINA said. The structure provides a critical link to Georgetown.
Minister within the Ministry of Public Infrastructure, Annette Ferguson made this announcement during a visit to Supenaam over the weekend. She and Minister of Public Infrastructure, David Patterson were at the time inspecting infrastructure in Region Two, GINA said.
