Family of Coverden crash victim plead with police to speed-up probe

It has been more than a month since Ann Mohammed was struck down and killed minutes after leaving her work place at Coverden, East Bank Demerara, but no one has been charged as yet and her family is pleading with the authorities for swifter justice.

“Well I think that they are taking too long because you know it’s supposed to done come out. It’s been… a month and change, running into 40 days, and I don’t know why they taking so long,” Vinood Mohammed, Ann’s husband, told Stabroek News on Monday.
