A businessman was yesterday afternoon shot twice to his left leg at High Street, Werk-en-Rust, Georgetown when he attempted to intervene in a robbery which occurred a short distance from where he operates his business.
Proprietor of GA Shortt Imports and General Store, George Shortt of Lot 49 High Street, Werk-en-rust, was shot during the incident
