The police say they are investigating the murder of farmer Anthony Breedy, 60 years, of Hill Foot, Soesdyke/Linden Highway, whose body was found in the lower flat of his home about 1100h. today with multiple injuries to his head. The upper flat was ransacked.
Breedy had lived alone and both his hands and feet were tied.
The body is at the Lyken Funeral Home awaiting a post-morgen examination.
