President David Granger today received a courtesy call from representatives of the Farmers Association of Guyana, at the Ministry of the Presidency.
A release from the Ministry of the Presidency said that the team was led by Wazeer Latiff and comprised Susan Lowe, Michael Lowe and Surendra Sookdeo. At the meeting, issues related to the rice sector, the Guyana Sugar Corporation (GuySuCo) and diversification of the economy were discussed.
