Crabwood Creek farmer, 78, murdered

A Crabwood Creek farmer was found dead in a hammock at his home around 21:30 hrs on Tuesday with visible marks of violence about his body and his shotgun missing; the police have since held three men.

The body of Khublall, 78, of Crabwood Creek, Corentyne, was discovered by relatives who live nearby.

According to information gathered, the dead man was discovered by his nephew-in-law, who lives nearby. A neighbour said that Khublall’s nephew-in-law, Turbo, would call out to Khublall every day as he passed his house on his way home. On Tuesday when Turbo called, no one answered.

The neighbour said this seemed strange to Turbo, since his uncle would always respond. According to the man,
