Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo on Saturday said that Region 5 has great potential and the capacity to survive on its own.
The Prime Minister was at the time delivering remarks at the opening ceremony of the Region 5 Expo and Trade Fair held at the Bath Settlement Community Centre Ground. Also attending the ceremony was Minister of Business, Dominic Gaskin and the PM’s wife, Sita Nagamootoo. The trade fair was being hosted for the first time in the Region by the Chamber of Commerce under the theme “Transforming Region Five for a better Guyana”.
