A Jamaican national, who police say was found with over a kilo of cocaine, was yesterday remanded to prison on a narcotics trafficking charge.
Alfred Wellington, 50, said to be a carpenter, of Friendship, East Bank Demerara, was also charged with forgery and overstating in Guyana.
It is alleged that Wellington had 1.324 kilogrammes of cocaine in his possession
