Following the recent protest action taken by students to highlight their concerns over the neglect of the University of Guyana, President David Granger has agreed to meet with representatives of the student body.
A statement issued on Wednesday by the Ministry of the Presidency announced that President Granger would be meeting with the President of the University of Guyana Students Association (UGSS) and a small group from the Association next week to discuss the welfare and issues raised by students of the Turkeyen Campus over the past week.
