The Ministry of Telecommunications and the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT) are working to ensure major upgrades to cellular networks and hot-spots in considered locations across the country in time for next month’s 50th independence anniversary celebrations.
GTT yesterday handed over a cheque for $1 million as a contribution towards the Jubilee Festival to be held as part of the independence anniversary celebrations.
