A Sparendaam mason was on Thursday denied bail after he was charged with attempting to murder a man over the theft of a bike.
It is alleged that on April 3rd, at Plaisance, East Coast of Demerara, Ezekiel Rodney, 23, with intent to commit murder, maliciously wounded Timothy Herod.
Rodney was not required to plead to the indictable charge, which was read to him by Magistrate Zamilla Ally-Seepaul
