A second suspect was detained by the police on Friday for questioning into the murder of Crabwood Creek resident, Shameer Ally who was found dead in his house some seven months ago when police had visited to arrest him.
Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum told Stabroek News that the suspect, Basheer Harrinauth was arrested on Friday at Crabwood Creek Backdam.
He was taken into custody as the probe continues.
Another individual, Dennis Veerasammy has since been charged
