An independent candidate from the Soesdyke/Huist Coverden local authority area has been elected as Vice-Chairman of the Neighbourhood Democratic Council (NDC).
Aaron Grant Stuart, from the independent Group Soesdyke Te Huist Te Coverden Torchbearers, was elected as Vice-Chairman, while Dinesh Singh from the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) was elected as the Chairman.
Stabroek News understands that during the elections, Stuart was the only nominee for the post as no one from the major political groups,
