Driver in Bushy Park fatal accident regains consciousness

The driver involved in the Bushy Park, East Bank Essequibo accident that claimed one life, has regained consciousness after spending almost two weeks in the Intensive Care Unit at the Georgetown Public Hospital.

Denzil Moore, of Port Kaituma, North West District suffered head contusions and a concussion when the vehicle turned turtle around 2 am on April 25.

He has since been admitted in the High Dependency Unit of the hospital and a family member told Stabroek News that he is relieved that the man’s condition has improved.
