Special guests and invitees at the AIDS Candelight vigil held last evening at the Catholic Life Centre, Brickdam. This year’s theme was “Engage, Educate, Empower.” The Memorial emphasizes the need for people living with and affected by HIV to join hands and work together in the response to HIV. SASOD, the Society Against Sexual Orientation Discrimination has been the local organiser for the annual AIDS Candlelight Memorial in Guyana since 2010.
