The Region One community of Barabina now has a newly rehabilitated road, a fulfillment of a promise made by Minister within the Ministry of Public Infrastructure, Annette Ferguson earlier this year, GINA said.
The Minister told GINA that the Ministry of Public Infrastructure (MPI) had been working on the deplorable road for some time and it has now been completed.
She said “when I visited the road back in early February, the road was in a deplorable condition and filled with lots of water and holes.”
She said that she immediately engaged her senior minister, David Patterson to address the concern and this resulted in “successful negotiations and monies being allocated to the region for a new road.”
