Sealand shipping line launched

The Sealand shipping line was officially launched in Guyana on May 19th, 2016 at a cocktail and dinner at Parc Rayne on the East Bank of Demerara.

A release from the line’s local agents Muneshwers Limited  said that in attendance were Sealand executives from Miami and Panama, their local agents, the Minister of Business, Dominic Gaskin and members of the business community.

The release said that Sealand covers North America, South America and Central America.  It said that the revamped service now provides fast transit to Guyana from key ports such as Miami (11 days), New York (16 days), Panama (7 days) and Colombia (6 days).

Sealand is an off-shoot of Maersk shipping line, the largest shipping line in the world.
