The Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana (CIOG) yesterday notified all Muslims that the crescent for Ramadan has not been sighted; therefore fasting begins tomorrow, June 7th 2016.
Taraweeh prayers will commence this evening, Monday 6th June 2016.
CIOG extended Ramadan Greetings to all Muslims.
