President of the Guyana Volleyball Federation (GVF) John Flores said yesterday that the Primary School Coaching programme facilitated by the Samaritan Sports Support system will help teachers to become better coaches thus ensuring students are properly tutored about the sport.
The course, which ran for a week, was attended by teachers from across some of the country’s primary institutions and was geared mainly towards ensuring the sport is properly introduced into the school system while affording teachers the opportunity to function as coaches.
