Barbados and The Bahamas secured opening night wins when the historic Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC) u16 Championships commenced yesterday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on Homestretch Avenue.
Trailing 38-53 heading into the final quarter, the Barbadians outhustled the lads from the British Virgin Islands 26-8 to clinch the come-from-behind win. Zachary Moore recorded 13 points and nine rebounds in the win while Makari Jones assisted with 12 points, five rebounds, four assists and as many steals.
