Guyana girls go down to BVI 18-54

Guyana started their Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC) Girls U16 Championships title hunt in the worst possible manner losing to the British Virgin Islands (BVI) 18-54 yesterday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall in Georgetown, Guyana.

For the BVI, Shauliqua Fahie led the assault with a dominant performance of 24 points, 21 rebounds, seven assists and six steals while Jada Mohan was the main threat for the locals as she recorded 11 points and seven rebounds.
