Judging will soon begin to determine which of the entrants who submitted a ‘one business pitch’ for public scrutiny will be selected among the five finalists.

The videos of the pitches will be uploaded to facebook.com/scotiabankgy for public voting to determine the three top entrants, who, along with two wildcards will go to the finals.

The finalists will be given access to a free On Line Business Plan Writer to prepare and present their respective business plans to the panel of judges. The winner and runner-up will walk away with $500,000 and $250,000 to help in the actual implementation of their respective business plans.

Scotia Bank is being supported in this endeavour by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Guyana franchise of the internationally renowned business training institution, Action Coach.
