Red-bellied Macaws are mainly green with a red belly patch and blue forewings and head.  They are most easily identified by their bare yellow facial skin and also by their high-pitched, wailing call while in flight.
They prefer the fruit and seeds of palm trees, especially those of the Moriche Palm.
