Car at my steps: A car crashed into a yard at Bagotstown, East Bank Demerara, on Friday morning, completely dismantling the stairs to the house. Stabroek News was told that the driver of the vehicle appeared to be speeding and lost control, crashed into the fence and wrecked the stairs before coming to a halt. The driver of the vehicle, who was the lone passenger, was taken to the hospital for medical attention. He did not suffer serious injuries. It was not the first time such an accident occurred at the property. In August of 2011, a car crashed into the second flat of the home. In 2014, a similar accident occurred in the vicinity.
