A Palmyra Village, East Canje, Berbice family was beaten and robbed on Wednesday evening, when armed bandits invaded their home.
Nadira Permaul, a vendor at the New Amsterdam market, who lives with her 69-year-old husband Tom Kissoon, told Stabroek News that they were speaking with their visiting son when the attack occurred.
