It is alleged that on July 14, at Bent Street, Wortmanville, Earlson Murray, 34, of Ruimveldt, unlawfully and maliciously wounded Easton Pyle.

Murray pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him by Magistrate Leroy Daly.

Police Prosecutor Kevin London had no objections to Murray being granted bail.

Murray’s lawyer, Folio Richards, told the court that her client should be granted bail since he is the primary caregiver to his mother, who just underwent surgery. The magistrate subsequently granted bail and ordered Murray to return to court on September 19.
