Swimmers arrive in Rio

Olympic swimmers, Hannibal Gaskin and Jameela Sanmoogan along with Coach, Paul Mahaica and Chef-de-Mission, Garfield Wiltshire have arrived at the Games Village in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Track and Field Athletes: Troy Doris (triple jump),Brenessa Thompson (100 and 200m), Aliyah Abrams (400m), Winston George (400m) have also joined them ahead of the Olympic Games which starts tomorrow.

In their debut at the Games, Gaskin will compete in the 100m butterfly, while  Sanmoogan will contest the 50m freestyle.

During the 16 days of the Games, athletes from the 205 International Olympic Committee members will be competing in 42 disciplines and over 300 events to determine the world’s fastest, strongest and best.
