Accused to face trial over murder on Agricola minibus

Murder accused Orpheus Johnson was yesterday committed to stand trial for the killing of Gladstone George, who was shot to death execution-style aboard a minibus in full view of several passengers at Agricola, East Bank Demerara last year.

The decision was made yesterday at the close of the Preliminary Inquiry (PI) into the charge against Johnson, 29, of Second Street, Craig, East Bank Demerara, who is charged with killing George, 32, of Lot 40 Brutus Street Agricola in April last year.
