Residents of Cactus Street, West Ruimveldt are pleading with the authorities to remove the derelict firetrucks and other vehicles that are parked on the parapet.
Two old firetrucks, an old bus and other mechanical parts have been parked along the road, which is adjacent to the fire station in the area, for some time. Residents are concerned that the trench in the area cannot be cleaned as a result and also about the security risks that the vehicles present.
