Prosecution closes case in Crum-Ewing murder inquiry

The prosecution yesterday closed its case in the preliminary inquiry (PI) into the charge against Regan Rodrigues, the man accused of murdering political activist Courtney Crum-Ewing.

Special prosecutor Nigel Hughes closed the prosecution’s case after the last prosecution witness, Woman Constable Elesia Browne. Browne, at the time of the murder, was attached to the Crime Scene Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department and had taken photographic evidence at the scene on the day of the murder.
