On Friday, September 2, 2016, ranks of the Guyana Police Force, responding to a report of threats, where a firearm was allegedly used, went to a location at Black Water, Cuyuni River. The police said in a press release on Tuesday that the suspect was not found but a search in the surrounding area unearthed three single-barrel shotguns, one 9nn pistol, one .38 revolver and eighteen rounds of live ammunition.
Investigations are continuing.
