At a dinner last Wednesday at the Marriott Hotel in Georgetown, the Marcus Brian Bisram Foundation (MBBF) donated to the education of five Guyanese students from Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo.
A release from the foundation which was established this year and is based in the United States,
said that the dinner was held in honour of some 100 children and youths from Tuschen. The MBBF, which is named for the Guyanese-born Bisram, donated $672,000 towards the education of the five students.
