Indian High Commission donates books to UG

The High Commission of India in Georgetown on Tuesday donated 150 books of 124 titles with multiple copies on various subjects such as Philosophy, History, Information Technology, Climate Change, Religion, Politics, Science, etc. to the University of Guyana, Turkeyen Campus.

A release from the Indian High Commission said that Shashi Mohan Joshi (left), Head of Chancery, High Commission of India, handed over the books to Dr. Paloma Mohamed, a Deputy Vice Chancellor who received the books on behalf of the Vice Chancellor Professor Ivelaw Griffith at a short ceremony organised in the Foyer of the Library at the University.
