The driver who was involved in last Saturday’s accident on Sheriff Street, which claimed the life of 75-year-old Oswy Crum-Ewing has been released on station bail as the investigations into the matter continue.
Acting Traffic Chief Jairam Ramlakhan informed Stabroek News that the man was placed on substantial bail after his 72 hours detention period expired. He is still assisting the police with the probe.
