Lethem housebreaker gets community service

A South Ruimveldt Park man was on Tuesday ordered to perform eight weeks of community service after he admitted to breaking and entering a Lethem home to fund a trip back to Georgetown.

Frankie Slowe, 33, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering the home of Michelle Kenyon between October 13 and October 14, at Beverly Hills Drive, Lethem and stealing items amounting to more than $500,000. The stolen articles listed were a MacBook Air, an iPhone 6, an HP laptop, a Kindle and pruning shears.
