Woman accused of embezzling $2m from Country Pride

A man and a woman were yesterday read separate charges by a city magistrate, of fraudulently converting a combined total of $4 million.

Appearing before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan, were 40-year-old Pauline Stewart, and 20-year-old Deodharry Odit, who were read separate charges of fraudulent conversion.

The charge against Stewart stated that between January 1, 2015 and July 28, 2016, at Georgetown, while being a clerk employed by Country Pride Enterprises, she fraudulently embezzled $2,085,305, property of Country Pride Enterprises.
