PM makes donation to Corentyne Comprehensive

Students and teachers of the Corentyne Comprehensive High School (CCHS) on Monday received two laptops and sports gear donated by Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo.

The presentation was a follow up to gifts donated by Sita Nagamootoo, wife of the Prime Minister, in an effort to enhance the Home Economics Department, a press release from the Office of the Prime Minister said.  The Prime Minister stated that the school holds special value in his life and it was once a haven for children coming from the working   class villages. Prime Minister Nagamootoo taught at CCHS during 1964-1967, the release said.
