Inmate charged over Sunday’s wounding at Camp St prison

Calvin Bailey, who was acquitted of murdering his 18-month-old toddler, but is serving time for another killing, was yesterday charged with wounding a prison inmate.

It is alleged that on November 6, at the Georgetown Prison, Camp Street, Bailey, 38, unlawfully and maliciously wounded, Dwayne King. Bailey pleaded not guilty to the charge that was read to him by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan.

Police Prosecutor Neville Jeffers told the court that Bailey is currently
