President of the GBA, Steve Ninvalle made the presentation to vice chairman of the commission, Elton Chase, during a simple ceremony at Olympic House, last week.

The GBA head then noted that the gesture will be followed by other presentations “because we also want to look at footwear.”

Ninvalle added that “It is important that our referee/judges are properly uniformed which is a requirement by AIBA. We want to make sure that we are in keeping with the statutes as it relates to the governing body.”

Ninvalle reiterated, “We plan on making further presentations to the referee/judges commission which is chaired by Ramona Agard.”
