The launch today of the Holiday Craft and Music Festival at the 76-77 Robb Street Courtyard Mall (opposite the Stabroek News) will kick off an initiative by a group comprising artists, craftspeople and musicians to attempt to create a longer-term creative space at a modest but potentially attractive downtown venue.
The seasonal ‘spin’ being put on the event as reflected in the symbolic lighting of a Christmas Tree later in the day is a prelude to what the organizers hope will be a longer-term, hopefully rewarding initiative to expose the work of local creative souls offering hand-made décor,
