A release from DEMTOCO said that in handing over the items the Managing Director of DEMTOCO,  Maurlaine Argyle-Kirton, said that the Company is very pleased to assist the Women’s Shelter and explained that the donation is part of the Company’s annual Christmas Corporate Social Responsibility Programme.  DEMTOCO chose the shelter after a need was expressed for the donation of materials.

Argyle-Kirton said that she could see that there is a great need for assistance at the shelter and called on other corporate entities to come out in support of the facility.

Head of the Shelter, Margaret Kertzious said that she is thankful for the timely donation as it will go a far way in improving the comfort of the residents, especially the mothers and children. She said she is especially grateful for the donation of fans as the place is often very hot and makes staying at the shelter difficult.
