The badly decomposed body of a man was found early yesterday morning in an abandoned house at Beterverwagting (BV), East Coast Demerara (ECD).
He has been identified as 35-year-old Amid Ali.
Stabroek News understands that the discovery was made around 6.45 am yesterday by garbage collectors who were carrying out their regular routine work. An unpleasant smell was emanating from the Old Road, BV house and upon investigating the garbage collectors found Ali’s body.
