File on fatal Bagotville accident sent to DPP – Traffic Chief

The police have wrapped up their investigation into the two-month-old accident in which boat builder Clement Skeete was fatally struck down on the Bagotville, West Bank Demerara Public Road and the file has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

This is according to Traffic Chief Deon Moore, who told Stabroek News yesterday that the file was recently sent to the DPP’s Chambers for recommendations.

Skeete, 60, of Lot 111 Bagotville, West Bank Demerara, was struck down and killed by a car on the evening of October 14, while riding his bicycle across the road in the vicinity of his home.
